1 dpiui and planning for next round

Yep, 1 dpiui...and I am already planning for next round if need be.

Let me back up for a sec. We had our iui yesterday, CD 14 for me. DH had his best sample to date and 75.25 million, 95% mobility were inseminated. I told the doc that I had some spotting the night before, as well as prior to the last iui and she prescribed estrace as well as prometrium (instead of Crinone). No bleeding at all today. Anyway, I am in the dreaded tww and plan on testing out the trigger shot. I have a ton of hpt's to use.

And now for the planning part. DH was truly shocked that I didn't get my BFP last iui as it happened our first shot last time. That got me thinking about what was different. I stopped taking the metformin because it made me nauseous, and I stopped taking the DHEA when our cycle was cancelled 2 months ago. So, 3 days ago I started the Met and today I am starting the DHEA. That way it will be in my system if we have to go for round 3.

I did go for acupuncture today, and my ND gave me some literature about how effective DHEA is...and some info on Myo-Isotol and Melanonin.

Anyway, my morning cocktail of pills has grown, and now I have added on the knowing of and swallowing of the pineapple core. Uggh.
And 2 new pills to push up into never never land. Double uggh.

9 dpiui and about to lose my mind

It is very early in the morning...I have been up since 5 AM! As I sit here checking email, playing with my new Blackberry Z10, sipping my one coffee I allow myself per day - I SWEAR i had a few waves of nausea! Please God don't let me be getting the flu!!! Please let it really be nausea! Yesterday I broke down like a crappy old car and tested. It of course was negative. It was negative when I peed, it was negative 2, 10, 20, 30 and 60 minutes later. It was negative 3 hrs later, in the bathroom light, in the natural light from the window, and under the glare of a flashlight. Like I said, I am losing my mind!

I had ordered 20 hpt's from cheappregnancytests online, oh about two weeks ago now and they haven't arrived yet! Super annoying! So today I will go see my ND as she sells them in her clinic for about $1.50. I will get enough to test twice a day until Monday (when AF would be due).
I did have one more hot flash yesterday afternoon around 3 o'clock...but that's it. Nada. Zilch. I actually think I was a bit depressed yesterday, but resolve to not let it get to me today. I am going to get my hair done today - which always makes me feel good :)

So that's my rant - much ado about nothing!

In the Two Week Wait

So my follie scan went okay...I had two - one each side; both around 14.6mm. I triggered on Saturday night and we had our IUI on Monday morning (January 6th). DH's counts were amazing! 100 million, 90% mobility post wash. Yes, he has supersperm and he knows it ;) So now I am 2 dpiui, and will test out my trigger shot. Of course I had a positive on an OPK today. I went for acupuncture yesterday and started Crinone the night of the IUI. Good grief that is nasty stuff! Anyway, so far I have had some mild cramping and I had spotting the day of the IUI. My boobs are slightly tender today. That's about it for now...FXFXFX!
